 Yes, giving lws a buffer with 65536 bytes (+ additional pre/post padding)
 in the libwebsocket_write call() / no fragmentation. In the protocol
 definitions I did not specify any buffer sizes (= 0).

 I tested with library version 1.4.
 Same behavior with git head.

 I am not familiar with with the fragmentation feature yet, but if I have
 time, I will try that. However, for our current usage scenario we are
 quite happy with small non-fragmented messages. The size issue just popped
 up during our unit testing, and I thought you might be interested.
