Hi Andy,

I was looking for a way to send close reason on websockets, found that it got recently added .

As it is still in master branch and no release is out , is it safe to PATCH it on top of v1.6.0-chrome48-firefox42
https://github.com/warmcat/libwebsockets/issues/196

https://github.com/warmcat/libwebsockets/commit/1fb95e8084bc7b27e72bf199ba422efdfbee360b#diff-1a03ea41c91111289d2f50246637983f

is there any thing else I need to patch to get this working ? ( I am yet to try to this ).

<QUOTE>

close add api to control sent close frame contents

This adds an api lws_close_reason() which lets you control what will

be sent in the close frame when the connection is closed by returning

nonzero from the user callback.

The test server demo is extended to prove it works in both directions.

With this, we should have nice close support.
